Thailand - First Trip to Bangkok

My First trip to Thailand was with Michele, Mary, Bings, Jessica, Khid and Huiling. Well I think it was quite a unprepared trip because it was our first trip to Thailand and we didn't know what to expect. Well to begin with Bangkok is a damm packed city. There are millions of people moving around, roads that are jammed with cars for hours and the policing system within the city needs to be improved.

The trip was a 5 day 4 night experience/shopping trip to Bangkok. As it was the first trip to a foreign place with a group of friends, it was easy to accommodate to everybody's needs. We had a lot of problems negotiating with the locals, especially transportation with the '(in)flexible' transportation system of Bangkok.

However the most important lesson is that despite its beauty, Bangkok happens to be a place for the unexpected tourist... that would be us.

Thailand - A land of a 1000 smiles

Thailand is the place which I truly fell in love with not at first sight but with each trip that I returned to. Thailand has many views, activities and adventures to offer to the world. Many tourist, especially females would be mesmerized by the affordable fashion (for asians too) and abundant shopping areas. Tourist would also flavor Thailand due to the relatively cheaper cost of traveling, accommodation and food fares. In short, I personally feel that one has not traveled Southeast Asia without laying foot into Thailand.

Up till this post, I have been to Thailand for 3 trips. Twice to Bangkok with my university friends and on the last trip, I was part of a field studies group from NUS which toured Thailand from the South to the North. In all 3 trips, I never seem to get bored or unsatisfied while touring in Thailand.In fact, every time I return back to Thailand I always get this sense of adventure and excitement. I believe it happens because of the people of Thailand, not all the people though.

These post of Thailand are based on my personal perception of the Kingdom during my time there... so please that the advise given must be taken with precaution.
